You get a personal link. People who sign up through it are recorded as yours, and you earn when they subscribe.
Your link
Find it in the referral area of your account. It is unique to you — that is how signups are attributed — so send it as it is rather than retyping the address by hand, which loses the part that identifies you.
Share it anywhere you would normally recommend something: a message, a post, a video description, your own site.
What you can see
Your referral page shows the funnel, stage by stage:

Seeing the stages separately is useful. Plenty of clicks and no signups says something different from plenty of signups and no conversions — the first is a targeting problem, the second is not really yours to solve.
Pending, available, paid
Earnings do not become withdrawable the instant someone pays.
- Pending — the referral has paid, but the amount is not yet cleared
- Available — cleared and payable
- Paid — sent to you
The wait exists because payments can be refunded or reversed after the fact. An amount reversed before it clears is deducted rather than clawed back afterwards, which is better for everyone.
Getting paid
Payouts are requested from the same page, against the available balance. Your payout history is listed there.
Tiers
The programme has tiers. Referring more can move you up, which changes what you earn. Current rates and thresholds are shown on your referral page — that is the authoritative source, and this guide deliberately does not repeat numbers that would go out of date.
What does not count
Broadly: anything that is not a genuine new person choosing to sign up.
- Signing yourself up again through your own link
- Accounts created only to trigger a reward
- Anyone who already had an account before clicking
Referrals are checked. Ones that do not hold up are reversed, and consistent abuse costs you the programme.
Being reasonable about it
The programme rewards recommending something to people who might want it. It does not reward volume for its own sake.
Two practical points. Say what the thing actually does before sharing the link — a bare link converts badly and annoys people. And do not post it where you have been asked not to; being removed from a community for spamming does more damage to you than any referral is worth.
Credits versus cash

If a referral is missing
Check the person actually used your link, and used it before signing up. A referral is recorded at signup: someone who created an account first and clicked your link afterwards is not attributed to you, and this is the explanation almost every time.
If you are confident it should have counted, contact support with roughly when they signed up.
