Notifications tell you when something happened while you were not looking — work that finished, a payment problem, a reply from support.
Where they arrive
In the app. A notifications area collecting everything, newest first.
By email. For the categories you leave switched on.
As a push notification, if you allow your browser to show them. Useful on a phone, where the app is not open in a tab all day.
On Telegram, if you link your account. You get a one-time link code and connect it once; messages then arrive in Telegram like any other chat.
Each is separate. You can have finished-work notices in the app and on Telegram but not by email, or any other combination.
What you can choose
| Category | Default | Covers |
|---|---|---|
| Work finished | on | a generation or batch completed |
| Work failed | on | something did not finish |
| Billing | on | payments, renewals, failed cards |
| Security | on | sign-ins and account changes |
| Marketing | off | product news and announcements |
Work finished and work failed can be set separately for email and for in-app, so you can have failures emailed to you while successes stay quietly in the app.
There is also a master switch for email. Turning it off silences the email channel without you having to go through the categories one at a time.
Marketing is the only category that starts switched off. Everything else starts on because it concerns your account or work you asked for.
Quiet hours
You can set hours during which notifications do not disturb you. Useful if you run long batches overnight and would rather not be woken by each one finishing.
Nothing is lost — the notifications area still has everything when you come back.
A sensible starting point
Notifications are useful in proportion to how rare they are. A stream you have learned to ignore is worse than none, because the one that mattered is in it.
For most people:
- Leave work-finished on. This is what lets you start a video or a batch, close the tab, and get on with something else.
- Leave billing and security on. A failed card that you do not hear about becomes a lapsed plan.
- Add Telegram or push if you work away from the desk. Email is slower than both and easier to miss.
- Quiet hours if you run things overnight.
Waiting for something specific
If you are waiting on a video or a batch, turn on the finished-work notifications and then genuinely leave. The work continues whether or not the page is open, and watching it does not make it faster.
Nothing is arriving
- Check the category, and the email master switch above it.
- Check spam or junk. Filters catch these more often than they should.
- Check the email address on your account is correct and confirmed — notifications go to the confirmed address. See account and profile settings.
- For push, check the browser has permission — a refused prompt is remembered and never asked again until you change it in browser settings.
- For Telegram, check the link is still connected.
- Still nothing — contact support.
Too many are arriving
Turn categories off rather than abandoning the notifications area entirely. The in-app record is the one place where a finished batch, a support reply and a payment problem all show up, and it is worth keeping usable.
