Before you sign up
Do I need any technical knowledge? No. If you can use a web browser and type a description, you can use this.
Do I need to install anything? No. It runs in a browser, on a computer or a phone.
Can I try it without paying? Yes. The free plan is a real plan rather than a trial that expires, and it comes with a credit allowance. See plans and payment.
Making things
How long does it take? An image, seconds to a minute. A video, minutes. Longer when the queue is busy. You do not have to wait on the page.
Why do I get a different picture from the same prompt? Randomness is part of how it works. To repeat a result exactly, reuse the seed — see settings explained.
Can I make it write text in the picture? Not reliably. No model does this well. Add text afterwards in any editor.
Can I generate a picture of a specific real person? Not reliably, and it is restricted. Consider whether you should be doing it at all before working out how.
How long can a video be? Seconds, not minutes. That is a property of the technology, not a limit a higher plan removes. Join several clips in a video editor for something longer.
Can I use my own photo as a starting point? Yes. See starting from an image.
How do I get the same character in every picture? Use an avatar — a character the models already know. Claim one you already have a connection to, or train your own from photographs. See avatars.
Money
What are credits? What generating costs. Your plan includes an allowance and you can buy more. See how credits work.
Am I charged if a generation fails? No. The cost is held while work runs and only spent when something is actually produced. Failures release the hold.
What is free? Browsing, organising, downloading your own work and uploading. Only generating costs credits.
Do unused credits expire? Check the current terms on the pricing page — this is a detail that can change, and your credit history is the authoritative record for your account.
How do I cancel? From your billing settings, in a couple of clicks. You keep the paid plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and your library stays either way.
Ownership and rights
Who owns what I make? Yours to use, subject to the terms in the app. Read them once if you are using the work commercially.
Can I sell what I make? Generally yes, subject to those terms — and subject to your having the right to whatever you supplied as input. Something built on a photograph you do not own is a different question from something built on a description.
Can I use my own photos as input? Yes, if they are yours or you have the right to use them. See uploading your own files.
Privacy
Can other people see my library? No. It is private.
Is anything public by default? No. Everything lands in your private library.
Account
Can I change my username? Yes. It changes your profile address, so links people already have to your profile stop working.
How do I make my account more secure? Turn on two-step sign-in. See keeping your account secure.
How do I delete everything? Deleting your account — download what you want to keep first, because it does not come back.
Is cancelling the same as deleting? No. Cancelling drops you to the free plan and keeps your work. Deleting removes the account and everything in it.

How do I ask for a feature that does not exist? There is a feature request area where you can post an idea and vote on other people’s. See contacting support.
