Recreate and recipes

Recreate starts a new generation from an existing post — same recipe, yours to change. A recipe is the prompt, the model and the seed: the settings that produced the result.

Recipes are not public

Browsing a post shows you the media, the title, the creator and the counts. It does not show the prompt, model or seed — not in the feed, not on the share page, and not in the page source. That is true whether you are signed in or not.

The recipe is revealed only when you recreate, which records the attribution first. So a creator sharing publicly is not automatically giving away how it was made.

If you are the creator, you always see your own recipe.

What a creator controls

When publishing, the creator decides:

• who may recreate — nobody, followers only, or everyone
• whether it costs credits, and how many

Those are independent of visibility. A post can be publicly visible with recreating switched off entirely.

When recreating costs credits

If the creator set a price, recreating debits your credits and records the purchase. You keep access afterwards — recreating the same post again does not charge you twice.

What you get

Recreating loads the recipe into the generator, with one deliberate exception: the seed is not reused. Same prompt, same model, new seed — so you get something in the same family rather than a copy. Set the seed manually if you want to reproduce the original exactly.

Everything is editable before you generate. Recreate is a starting point, not a template you have to keep.

Attribution

A recreate is recorded against the original post. That is what the “recreates” count on a post means, and it is what creator rewards are calculated from.
