The community feed is now public
The community feed used to require an account. It no longer does. Anyone can now browse what people are making in Studio, open any post, and share it — no sign-up, no wall.
What changed
Three things are public that were not before:
The feed itself. Browse creations by category, or by tag, at /community. Every post links to its own page.
Per-post pages. Each published creation has a short link that works for anyone. Paste it into a message or a social post and it unfurls with the title and the creation itself as the preview image.
Creator pages. A creator’s public profile is readable without signing in.
Generating, liking and recreating still need an account. The change is about seeing what Studio produces, not about giving the tools away.
What did not change
The rules about who sees what are exactly as they were.
Follower-only posts are still follower-only. Adult-rated work never appears in the public feed. Content still awaiting a moderation rating stays out of it — including every video for the first minutes after publishing, because the classifier that reviews video samples the actual clip rather than one frame. If a rating is uncertain, the post stays private rather than going public; unreviewed is not treated as approved.
Recipes are still private. Browsing a post shows the work, not the prompt, the model or the seed. Those are revealed only through Recreate, which records the attribution first — so sharing publicly is not the same as giving away how it was made.
Every one of those rules is applied on each request against the database, not by a cache or an index that could fall behind. Opening the feed to the public widened who can look. It did not widen what there is to see.
Why open it at all
Work that cannot be shown cannot be found. A creation behind a login has no preview when someone links it, cannot be indexed, and cannot bring anyone back. The most useful thing a piece of work can do for the person who made it is be seen — and until now it could only be seen by people who already had accounts.
